Dean Upton is a Software Architect for IBM, based at Hursley Park, Winchester, England. Joining IBM in 1999, he currently works in the Voice Systems team, inventing the future of voice messaging systems.
He has interests in technology, communications, engineering, user interfaces and teaching. In his free time, he builds and flies model helicopters, enjoys home improvement, reapairs his cars, is an avid gamer, and is a qualified scuba diver.
